Filipino Style Pigs in a blanket
If you are looking for an easy appetizer and you want to have a filipino touch on it, this one’s for you! The original filipino hotdog and the sweet banana ketchup dip says it all.
1 tube crescent/croissant rolls
1 pack sandwich slices cheddar cheese (cut lengthwise, enough to wrap one hotdog)
12 pieces of Pinoy Kitchen Hot Dogs Party Size
4 tbsp. Egg wash (1 egg and 1 tbsp water)
1⁄2 cup banana ketchup
Coarse salt, for sprinkling
Parsley for garnish
How to Prepare
- Preheat the oven to 170o. On a lightly floured surface, unroll crescent sheets and tear where perforated. Cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles.
- Wrap each PInoy Kitchen Cocktail Hotdog with the cheddar cheese slice and then place it on the thick side of each triangle then gently roll to thinner side. Do the same for all hotdogs.
- Arrange the wrapped hotdogs into a medium baking pan, brush with egg wash, and a sprinkle with coarse salt.
- Bake until golden, 12 to 15 minutes.
